PhysiciansDr. Michelsen is a board certified OB/GYN practicing in Frisco, TX. She received her medical degree from the University of Des Moines and completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at two of Southern California’s busiest hospitals; San Bernadino County and Riverside County. After working in large group practices, Dr. Michelsen opened her private practice at Centennial Medical Center.
Dr. Michelsen, her husband and their two children are proud residents of Frisco. She and her husband, Dr. Steve Michelsen, are both very involved in the health and well-being of residents in Frisco. The family truly enjoys being connected with the wonderful people of Frisco and taking in all the family activities the community has to offer.
The goal of Dr. Michelsen’s practice is to provide quality healthcare to all women throughout every stage of their lives in a friendly and caring environment. She treats every pregnancy as if it were her own, and every patient as if she were her only patient.
Dr. Catherine HoltDr. Catherine Holt is proud to return home to the DFW area to practice obstetrics and gynecology. She received her undergraduate degree from The University of Texas at Austin and her medical degree from The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. Dr. Holt completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at The Methodist Hospital in Houston, TX. After working in a private practice in Houston, she established her own practice at the Centennial Medical Center in Frisco.
Dr. Holt specializes in both low and high-risk obstetrics and routine gynecology. In addition, she has a special interest in the area of adolescent gynecology. She enjoys counseling young women on HPV prevention, contraception, and other health issues specific for the young teenage woman. She strives to keep current on the latest issues in women’s healthcare and has been published in a series of textbooks on common obstetric and gynecologic emergencies. She currently serves as a junior fellow in The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists
Dr. Holt, her husband Wade, and their two children moved to Frisco to be near their families. Besides her love for her work, Dr. Holt’s primary love is her family. Dr. Holt knows Frisco will be a great community to live in where other women share similar passions.
Dr. Holt’s goal as a physician is to exceed her patients’ expectations in women’s healthcare. She focuses on providing the most up-to-date, personalized care for women and their families throughout all stages of their lives.
